Kurt Busch won his second Sprint Cup Series race of the season on Sunday. He was declared the winner of the Quicken Loans 400 at Michigan International Speedway after 138 laps due to rain.

What happened?

The fourth weather-related red flag flew after 138 laps, and Kurt Busch was in the lead. The track was soaked with rain, and NASCAR called the race early.

The top finishers

Dale Earnhardt Jr., Martin Truex Jr., Matt Kenseth, and Joey Logano rounded out the top five. Brad Keselowski, Jamie McMurray, Paul Menard, Trevor Bayne, and Clint Bowyer finished in the top 10.

Kyle Larson's misfortune

Kyle Larson was in the lead at Lap 129 but ran out of fuel and had to pit. He finished 17th.

Kevin Harvick's tough day

Kevin Harvick led 63 laps, the most of any driver, but blew a tire and finished 29th. He had been in a strong position to win before the incident.

Kurt Busch currently sits 11th in the driver points standings. He has two wins, four top fives, and three poles in 11 Sprint Cup starts this season.

The other Busch brother

Kyle Busch, Kurt's brother, hit the wall on Lap 53 after a restart. He finished dead last in 43rd spot. However, he won his first race back in the Xfinity Series on Saturday.

The Quicken Loans 400 was scheduled for 200 laps, but the rain shortened the race. Kurt Busch's win was his second of the season, and he will look to build on this momentum in his next race.
